Q. - My customers’ e-keys don’t work.
Q. The wrong size basket was dispensed.
Q. What happens if the computer fails.Q. My dispenser meter readings don’t match the meters in the e-range computer program.
A. – Does the reader display show ‘Wrong Vendor' or 'Wrong Site' or 'Wrong Season'’? Check your Security Settings. If the security settings in the reader are different than what is programmed on your customers e-key, the customers’ e-keys will not work. Security settings lock the e-keys to your golf course or driving range. Even a facility across the street with an e-range system cannot use their e-key accounts at your facility.
A. This may occur if the delay timing is set incorrectly in the reader. If the delay timing is set too low, the ball dispenser will not get the signal to dispense at the correct time. If your ball dispenser is equipped with more than one token mechanism, confirm that you have the wiring connected to the correct T1, T2, T3 connectors on the back of the e-key reader ..
A. – Yes. Your customer account information and purchase history are recorded in the eKeys and in the eKey reader installed in your ball dispenser. It is not necessary to have wires to a computer to benefit from the lost listing or other powerful features of eRange.
A. – The meters in the e-key reader only record those sales and transactions performed with the reader and your e-keys, unless you have connected your token switches to the reader. (The reader can count token sales if the token switch is disconnected from the ball dispenser and connected to the reader). If you have a token or additional cash system on your golf ball dispenser, the meters installed in the golf ball dispenser will record ALL sales or dispenses made by the golf ball dispenser including the e-key and PIN sales. E.g. you had three token sales and four e-key sales, the e-key reader meter would increase by four, but the dispenser meter would increase by seven.
